Reviewers and editors often have to make decisions about what is an acceptable level of information or rigor needed to justify publication and what scientific standards we should hold so that the social work literature can have maximum impact. This thread could forward such discussions.

This thread is for discussion of author and reviewer issues regarding reviews of qualitative and mixed-methods papers.

This thread is for ideas, observations, and queries related to writing or reviewing quantitative or mixed-methods articles.

Many universities and faculty are concerned that publishers restrict their ability to quote their own material or to post it on their own websites. This is a concern in Ohio and Ohioans have addressed this in the following document which ends with a template for requesting the return of copyright to authors.
